Lego® Yellow Belts

"Machine Madness"

If your child likes to build with Lego® bricks - you'll love this! Young students build fun and simple models. By playing with and manipulating the models, they experience pulleys, levers, gears, wheels and axles while exploring energy, buoyancy, and balance. Shh, don’t tell them it’s educational!

There are two different sessions of Lego® Yellow Belts that do not need to be taken in order.

Classes include free build sessions to promote creativity

Recommended for students ages 4-6 who are unable to build with with written instructions

Session A models include:

• Dog
• Car Launcher
• Pinwheel

Session B models include:

• Hockey Player
• Merry-go-round
• Mixer

Lego® Black Belts

"Machines in Motion"

Get your Lego® bricks movin'. Come build super-cool models that use gears, axles, and technic bricks. Through play children will learn about simple engineering and physics concepts. Work in teams under guided instruction to build a different model each class!

There are two different sessions of Lego® Black Belts that do not need to be taken in order.

Classes include free build sessions to promote creativity

Recommended for students ages 8-13

Session A models include:

• Flywheel
• Dog-bot
• Dragster

Session B models include:

• Fishing Rod
• Power Hammer
• Walker

Let's Get Movin'

Come build super-cool models that use gears, axles and pulleys. Work in teams under guided instruction to build a different model each week. This class is designed so that children of all ages and building abilities can build together.

Classes include plenty of time for free building to promote creativity

Session B models include:

• Windmill
• Rubber Band Car
• Catapult

Energize your Lego bricks with Snapology! Ever wonder how energy is developed from the sun, wind, and water? Come build a super cool Lego® car or Ferris Wheel powered by solar energy. Build an awesome windmill and watermill that really work from wind and water energy. Save the planet and build with Lego bricks all at the same time!
